In addition to softball fields, the city's Fletcher Park offers an indoor facility for art and music classes as well as a monument to veterans and Donnith Fletcher, namesake to the park and the first local resident to die in the Vietnam War. The Art Festival in the Pines is held every year in March and features art in a variety of forms, in addition to food concessions, live music and more.
